Curriculum Vitae

“My experience bridges the physical and digital — spanning construction, civil infrastructure, and enterprise IT. After retraining in technology, I now deliver complex IT infrastructure projects with the grounded insight of a Construction Project Manager and the forward-thinking perspective of an IT professional.”

Project Manager – Global Defence Contractor

Jul 2022 – Present

Initially led the £30m full refurbishment of a three-storey secure office facility. Oversaw design coordination, stakeholder engagement, and multidisciplinary consultant management — including architects, structural engineers, MEP specialists, and security advisors.

Managed the tendering process and contractor onboarding, delivering the project under stringent security constraints.

Since then, I have transitioned into a client-side IT infrastructure role. I am currently leading early-stage design (RIBA Stages 1–2) for multiple infrastructure projects — including a new-build data centre and a sitewide fibre ring main upgrade. Responsibilities include coordinating internal stakeholders and external consultants, validating technical scope, and de-risking delivery pathways.

I act as the interface between business units, engineering and operations, and security teams to ensure compliance, scalability, and alignment with the wider organisational strategy.

Managed consultant teams including Architects, Structural Engineers, MEP, Fire, and Façade Engineers — driving coordinated design delivery under challenging programme and site constraints.

Led site operations with responsibility for over 30+ managers, engineers, supervisors, and operatives. Oversaw temporary works, logistics, subcontractor design integration, and statutory compliance.

Accountable under CDM 2015 as Principal Contractor, ensuring all health, safety, and environmental obligations were fulfilled throughout all project phases.

Led the implementation of a perimeter ground radar systems, a hybrid microwave and fibre backbone network, CCTV, and access control as part of Shell’s major field expansion programme.

In parallel, directed a national team of project managers delivering similar infrastructure projects for ExxonMobil, BP, Gazprom, and other international operators. Managed programme governance, contractor performance, and client engagement across Iraq — ensuring compliance with strict security protocols, seamless coordination across stakeholders, and alignment with client-specific technical standards.

Delivered high-spec, low-rise residential schemes and mill refurbishments ranging from £20m–£50m+, acting as Project Manager across the full lifecycle — from pre-construction, planning, and design through to procurement, delivery, and handover.

Managed multidisciplinary consultant teams, including Architects, Structural Engineers, MEP, Fire Safety, and Façade specialists. Drove coordinated design delivery within tight programmes and complex site constraints.

Led on-site operations with responsibility for 15+ managers, engineers, supervisors, and operatives. Oversaw temporary works, logistics, subcontractor design integration, and statutory interfaces.
